No problem, it's hard to find someone who draws humans in a way that's really pleasing to the eye. XP
That and you so made me laugh on your comment about exams. And I don't see much good Ouran fanart; it's always chibi-happy-disney-styled or something. .__.;;
In other words it took me 20mins to decide you were awesome. Or 20 seconds. I forget...
No problem. :3 And thanks for the compliment. If you keep trying, practising and experimenting with how things work and use good references then it's easy to get a hang of. It's taken several years to get past my thick skull though!
It's kinda ironic because recently I got into a big 'arguement' over giving someone crits on a pic; she basically told me that I had no clue what I was talking about (with both anatomy and lighting) because she didn't know me or something. o-0 I dunno. Some people just can't take the crits they ask for, but it's a good lesson.
If someone tells you 'this is wrong because the leg's bent funny' or 'the tail's coming out its butthole', rather than telling them they're mean, take a look and decide if you agree. XP You might not notice until someone tells you, so it's a good way to improve.
haha, that happened to me once too. I decided to give someone a good criticism that really didn't sound harsh at all, because he did have talent but he just had a mistake that he might not have realized, so I gave him that comment. And he ended up flaming me. Some people can't take criticism, ...and that's why I've been so much more careful when commenting. But I've never said anything that I don't mean, though.
Bah I'm rambling too . I really don't mind when people are rambling though, hehe.
The internet is serious business though. You say one little crit and someone will tell you either you're mean or don't know what you're talking about. Or if you give crits with praises they'll tell you you're rude. .__.;; That gets to me the most, since often I say I like it but this could be improved, etc.
